Where do you feel called to serve?

 

BUILDINGS & GROUNDS
Physical care of the church buildings & grounds.

Commitment: There are various opportunities throughout the year for volunteers to help out with the maintenance and improvement of our church and grounds, but let us know if you are interested in specific aspects of this ministry.


ALTAR GUILD
Responsible for setting the altar table, doing the communion dishes, and washing & ironing the altar linens every time we gather in corporate worship

Commitment: 15-20 minutes following service & 30-60 minutes at home per service you volunteer.


EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Participating in the celebration of the Eucharist, and conducting the rituals and ceremonies of the church.

Commitment: Volunteer for Sundays and other services where Eucharist is served throughout the year - including readers, acolytes, communion assistants, vergers (MCs), greeters. Schedule is done every two months.

CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES

Supporting our CYF coordinator, Nicole Hickory, in building and strengthening St. Paul’s CYF activities and programming.

Commitment: Volunteer for Sunday Children’s Chapel and help coordinating events such as Parent's Night Out, Christmas Eve Family Service


TECH TEAM
Set up and implement the live stream of our Sunday, 9:30am worship. Pairs work to manage the audio and visual technology.

Commitment: 1.5 hours on Sunday, once or twice per month



DAUGHTERS OF THE KING
Women who meet once a month to pray and fellowship, and who work together to  meet various needs in the church and the community, including the annual Bags of Blessing outreach at Easter.

Commitment: In the summer, this group meets the first Monday of the month at 5:30 pm, and in the winter, the first Saturday of the month at 9:30 am.


MUSIC
Use your musical gifts and openness to the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and invite the congregation into musical worship each Sunday.

Commitment: Choir rehearsal and performance one Sunday a month. You can also volunteer your instrumental or vocal talent as a soloist.




HOSPITALITY
Responsible for welcoming our congregation on Sundays through friendly engagement and our weekly coffee hour that follows the 9:30 am service.

Commitment: One or more Sundays every two months. Volunteers are scheduled in groups of three. 


MISSION & OUTREACH
The purpose of the Service Team is to discern the needs of our church community, the larger community around us, and what are we are called by God to do, as a congregation. We are currently is this discernment process. We are exploring how to best connect with and discover the needs of parishioners. We are also seeking ways to connect and establish relationships with those in need from the larger community around us. Some community efforts that we support can be found here.

Commitment: Meeting monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 11:30 AM; additional time varies.

FINANCE TEAM
Support the vestry in the financial stewardship of the parish, assisting with the management and/or the investment of parish finances.

Commitment: Participants can expect to contribute 3-5 hours per month.


VESTRY
The governing board of the parish is responsible for the financial and physical care of the parish. Members are elected by the parish at the annual meeting every winter and serve for three years.

Commitment: Members meet monthly for two hours and contribute approximately five hours/ month in additional individual or committee work.

FLOWER GUILD
The Flower Guild looks after altar flowers for services.

Commitment: Volunteers spend approximately 1 hour preparing arrangements.
