The Rev Bonnie Sarah Spencer

The Rev Bonnie Sarah Spencer is delighted to serve as a priest in the Diocese of Colorado. She has served in churches in Colorado and Massachusetts and has been ordained since 1999. She is passionate about following Jess and is grateful to be a part of the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement, which is committed to the life-giving, liberating, loving ways of Jesus. She was a member of the Diocese of Colorado Race Task Force and is passionate about racial justice.

During the last year, Bonnie has started a spiritual direction practice and enjoys accompanying folks o their spiritual journeys.

Bonnie was raised mostly in New York practicing the Jewish faith. She had a conversion experience in college at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She worked for 9 years in campus ministry before attending The General Theological Seminary. Bonnie is married to Catherin Anderson and has a sweet husky rescue named Finn. When not working, she enjoys reading, hiking, running, hanging out with friends and family, and good craft beer.
